pH is the “Potential of Hydrogen” i.e amount of Hydrogen present in water. Water pH means whether water is hard or soft. In general, water with a pH level lower than 7 considered “acidic” and more than 7 considered as “Alkaline”(base). The pH value of pure water is 7 neither acidic nor alkaline.
Drinking water with a pH balance of 6 – 8.5 is treated as good for health. In general, water with a pH of less than 6.5 could be acidic and corrosive. Acidic water contains heavy, toxic metals like iron, lead, manganese, and zinc.
